The 8 most important roles our consultants can play are
the:
- Advocator:
proposes guidelines, persuades, direct problem solving, lead and
motivates others.
- Technical Expert:
provides the client with direct information and suggestions, take active
role in problem solving, specialized knowledge, permanent presence on
site till end of contract.
- Trainer/Coach:
trains the clients and develop learning exercises, responsible for micro
processes.
- Moderator:
offers alternatives and participates in decision making, keep a
distance; to become dispensable by transferring knowledge & skills.
- Alternative
Identifier: identifies alternatives and resources, evaluate
consequences, shows correlation of insight, reduces complexity, and
discovers scope of action.
- Fact Finder: gathers
data and stimulates thinking, diagnoses and performs research.
- Reflective Observer:
observes problem solving processes gives feedback, raises issues and
stay on the background.
- Process
Specialist: facilitates methods, proposes and helps the client to
find a solution and develop client problem solving skills, lead clients
to self-realization and self-discovery, being auto-reflective.
