Knowing the market or end user is crucial if you wanted to launch a new product.  It is equally important that we know our Learners, especially how the Learners learn. 

To Seek” allows the learner to make his/her own associations, needed for making links, needed for learning.  Seeking learners show that they accepted responsibility for their own development.  The “self discovered truth” is used to let the learner discover the consequences of this Learning Task by himself.  The Seeking action is needed for the learner to lead to a “self discovered truth”.  When emotion is used during learning, the learner associates himself to a scenario.  Emotional learning takes place in the limbic part of the brain.  For this type of learning one do not really need repetition to obtain retention.

 

Research showed, from 3000 plus participants, that there are 3 types of Learners, namely:

  1. Auditive (5%)
  2. Kinaesthetic (30%)
  3. Visual (65%)

We conducted a small survey ourselves recently and the results showed astounding correlation.  Approximately 65% of the participants were more Visual learning oriented:
