Changing a Behaviour or a Believe is often the start of Change. More important is the alignment of the Behaviour and Believe. A person will experience a lot of anxiety when his/her believe and behaviours are not aligned. The question is; "Do we first need to Change our Behaviour or our Believe?". At times, we focus our efforts to make a change in Believe first. This is done by unlearning and understanding that old believes are not quite right. The type of learning most likely to be used successfully would be of a self discovery, simulation and emotional nature. The difference comes when a person can see the advantages, a "How to Change" plan, understand the consequences should Change not be implemented and their expected roles to play. Enforcing Change is another topic dealt with at a later stage. At times, it is better to 1st change a person's Behaviour first, in order to change their Believe. A good example is when car drivers and passengers started to, or needed to, wear safety/seat belts. Very few drivers and passengers wanted to wear safety or seat belts. They resisted Change, despite the millions spent on television and newspaper campaigns. Change was only successfully enforced when government penalized drivers and passengers who did not wear their safety belts. The Traffic Department helped Change by forcing people to change their behaviour, for their own good.
