Our consultants are not limited to use the 5 basic
steps:
- UNDERSTANDING THE
CONTEXT: our consultant will have a basic meeting to establish the
client's needs, company background, understand the client's expectations
and consultant's role. All to be reflected in a final contract,
consisting of Terms of Reference, Financial and Legal Conditions.
Knowing the difference amongst a symptom (to treat causes), a problem
(to solve) or a dilemma (to manage) is of cardinal importance.
- DIAGNOSIS:
consultants perform he following functions:
- observe;
differences, facts and symptoms
- describe; images
and associations
- understand;
contents, emotions and structures
- GOAL SETTING AND
ACTION PLANS: consultants offer alternatives, innovative solutions,
participate and facilitate problem solving workshops, set up plans with
proposed tasks or objectives assigned to client resources linked to a
budget and timescale.
- IMPLEMENTATION:
consultants might implement, track and control action plans, update
plans.
- CLOSURE: consultants
perform a wrap-up and evaluation, measuring level of plan or objectives
reached. Lessons Learned Session. Planned versus Actual
conditions, comparing predetermined measures.
Once a Business Assistance Program has been signed and approved, the above
would be managed by an assigned Consultant. The duration of the agreement
is at least 1 year, but varies due to many factors.
