Our learning system, product development and innovation strategies incorporate a Product Life Cycle plan as well as a Diffusion of Innovation analysis as part of the implementation strategy. For more details on our Implementation Strategy; click to view an Implementation Mind Map. Another different example is shown below: As per Diffusion of Innovation theory; there are in general 5 Types of Adopters, i.e. how ways people adopt new ideas. A recent analysis showed the above "Actual" results. The "General" results are the typical attitude towards new innovations. Normally 2% of the society will consist of Innovators, 14% will be willing to adopt new concepts easily, 34% of the society will be consist of early adopters, while another 34% will show some resistance to accepting a new innovation. Typically, 16% of the society might not want to try out new products. The graph; 5 Types of Adopters, shows a representation of a product's life cycle. Initially, the Innovators will be involved with the product development or using a new product. Next in the product's life cycle, the Early Adopters will purchase and use the product, followed by the Early Majority, then the Late Majority. The Laggards might follow the trend or fashion last. See 4 CHARACTERS to learn more about how these different people can be characterized. Our Implementation Strategy can be presented in 2 Phases, the 1st - 5 steps; Description of an Innovation. The 2nd - 7 steps to plan an Innovation Strategy. |
