Mind
Mapping is a graphical way of disseminating, visualizing and re-connecting
various views, ideas, terms or concepts.
At the heart of a mind map there is a term. Associated words or images branch
out from the center. These associations may also have other branches
leading off from them.
Complex relationships between contents, fields of knowledge, topics and ideas
can be illustrated in an easy-to-understand way by using mind maps.
Advantages:
- draw up overall
views
- work on associations
- activate, determine
and structure workers' previous knowledge
- check comprehension
of a certain topic
- structure complex
facts
- develop memory aids
- discover new ideas
